We have 4 workspaces opened, but only one can be active at a time. Is it possible for the non active workspaces to stop updating and resume it once they become active again?
This would lower the computer resources needed.
So basically, when we would make a non active workspace active again, it would automatically update all charts in it while the precious active one will now stop updating.
Thanks
PS: I will not request this using the PM page because it became useless at this point. It will take years for you guys manage all those requests which will create a lot of frustration among your users.

Hello arnie,
That is not a good idea. Imagine that you have auto trading running on the inactive workspaces.

Naturally for something like this to be implemented it's of the utmost importance to have an option that enables/disable the non active workspace to update the data, otherwise it would be very problematic for auto trading tradersHello arnie,

CPU power is cheap.::
This would lower the computer resources needed.

If needed, buy an extra computer, extra license, extra internet line... etc.,
ps. What happens when you click on a chart and bring it into focus?
--- It will start calculating all the uncalculated bars...
when you eventually clicked on all the charts, you would have calculated ALL the bars on all the charts.
So the total calculated bars are the same, only a matter of delayed action. ie there is no time gained, nor CPU cycle saved.
The down side is, when you click on a chart, it will take a second of two before the chart is catch up to the current bar.
Give it time, the tiny delay will be annoying as hell.
