Hi,
I keep getting pacing violation messages when I think I shouldn't. I'm only using a daily chart going back 6 months on a limited number of stocks. I read that the latest beta has an option to remove those messages. I installed the beta but realized the IB version is installed elsewhere. Before I mess something up can it be done or do I have to wait for the IB update? And if so is it just a matter of finding the MC directory within the TWS one?
Thank you! The charting software is great!!!
Can the latest beta be used in Interactive Brokers?

Hello airbornetrader,
The same IB API limitations are applied to all third party applications i.e. MultiCharts (.Net) and MultiCharts (.Net) for TWS will receive the pacing violation in the same situations. What we have done is just added a visual alert message that warns the user regarding the situation (because a lot of users were unaware of this API limitation), then added ability to switch off the warning. Here you can find how to reset it and load the data faster:Interactive Brokers Pacing Violation
