Volume indicator

Postby danbrown89 » 06 Oct 2014

Hi all,

Easy solution i'm sure.....

I'm looking to set up an automatic trade, and enter a short/long position based on volume within a time period. Entering short/long will be based on the following:

1) only enter the trade when it passes a certain volume
2) if the previous candlestick is red, then short or if the previous candlestick is green, then long

Any guidance would be much appreciated. I'm keen to try this with FX (GBP/USD or EUR/USD) to see how I get on. I have downloaded the free trail, any instructions would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Be aware that any quoted Volume has very little bearing on actual volume in FX. From broker to broker and data feed to data feed the 'Volume' will be extremely different.

In short: don't use volume in fx :)
