I am following the instructions but have a problem...
In the format instrument tab merge data sources is checked
I have historic EURUSD data from PI trading and realtime data from Lmax.
I have set ascii mapping for historic and I can bring in the data until 8/8/2014 which is correct. I have set realtime for the LMAX EUR/USD.
I end up with a chart with the historic data and real time updating correctly but missing all the data from 8/8 until now. Clicking reload all data does not help unfortunately.
How do I get the data from LMAX to start filling in the data from 8/8 ?
Many thanks,
Alex

Re: Problem merging historic data with real time
Hello Alex,
That is expected behavior. Missing data between the last data point of historical symbol and current moment using realtime data will not be backfilled.
Real-time data will be plotted only from the moment you have created a chart.
That it is not possible to set a certain rollover point at which historical data will stop and realtime data will start.
In order to have a complete dataseries you need to import the missing data into the historical instrument.
