systemed worked fine this afternoon, now I get "API client has been disconnected since verifcation failed"

what changed?

Hello Jim,

What exact version and build number of MultiCharts are you running? (in MultiCharts go to Help tab-> About)
Which data provider and broker do you use?
Please attach a screenshot demonstrating this message.

TWS Connection Issue

Currently use Multicharts for TWS [MultiCharts .NET for TWS Version 8.8 Release (Build 9244)]. Last 2 days, keep getting message:

'API client has been disconnected since verification failed' from TWS side or 'Connecting to TWS failure. Is TWS software running and is it enabled for socket client? is firewall disabled?' from MC. As no settings have changed for the past 2 months, I am at a loss determine the problem. Reinstalled operating system, TWS, and MC to no avail. Socket clients checked in configuration menu and firewall for TWS appears OK. Socket port # 7496 match up on both sides. Tried 2 different TWS builds. Any ideas?

having same issues...on 2 different machines

running IB TWS latest version...and Multicharts.Net directly from IB TWS

I have the same issue - MC for TWS (8.8 Build 9247)is not connecting to TWS anymore...

We are currently working on this issue with IB Support.
Once we have any updates - I will update the thread.

The issue has been resolved by IB. Please restart your TWS and MultiCharts.
You should be able to connect now.
