Drawing rectangular shapes

Postby AussieTrader » 24 Nov 2014

Hi Team,

Has anyone noticed when drawing a rectangular shape that covers more than current bar on a non time based chart, for example a volume based chart, the rectangle you just drew tend to shrink in length as the more bars are being printed on the chart in real time ?

Whereas if you draw rectangles on time based charts, the rectangles will stay the same shape as how you have drawn them and they are not affected by future bars. But it is not the case for at least volume and tick based charts, they always shrink in length as bars are being printed.

Any one has the same issue?

Best Regards
