I'm switching data feeds from IB to IQFeed, when I switch data sources I also use the symbol mapping but when I close the mapping menu I get the "invalid destination exchange specified"
Do I not just match the broker symbols of IQFeed to Interactive brokers in Symbol Mapping?

Re: Invalid destination exchange specified
Hello Jim,
You need to add symbols for both data feed and broker using the lookup.
Please re-add the symbols from the data source:
In the Quote manager go to Instrument tab->Add symbol->From data source-> IB.
Then do the same for IQFeed symbols.
To do the symbol mapping you need to do the following:
Go to the File->Broker profiles->Symbol mapping.
Select your broker IB. Click Add.
In the left column select the IQFeed data feed symbol.
In the right column select the symbol from the IB broker.
You need to add symbols for both data feed and broker using the lookup.

ok got it and done. Is there any way to automate this? or do you need to manually do this for every new instrument added?Hello Jim,
