Alerts for an APPCRASH - "Multicharts64 has stopped working"

Postby wilkinsw » 15 Jan 2015

Hi,

A few time i have had the following message come up requiring the restart of MC

I use "pulseway" to alert me of any stopped processes critical to my trading.

However with the popup shown here, the process doesn't end until I click "close the program". Therefore I don't get the alert at point of failure.

Any ideas how I can change this? Is there a log generated when this popup appers that I could create an alert for? Is there a registry edit solution whereby the process terminates without the popup?

Thanks!!

Hello,

Please collect and send us MC logs and dump files after the problem occurs but before restarting MC using MC Dumper as described here: https://www.multicharts.com/trading-sof ... lect_Dumps

Alternatively, you can come to our Live Chat Mon-Fri from 6:30 AM to 3 PM EST after the problem occurs but before restarting MC so we can collect all necessary information ourselves: http://messenger.providesupport.com/mes ... pport.html
