I read from multicharts blog that it mentioned a cumulative delta analysis indicator available for multicharts.
Do I need a specified broker or data provider so that I can use the indicator correctly?

You'll need a data provider that offer tick data, unfiltered tick data, such as IQFeed, Rithmic, OEC, CQG I'm not certain...I read from multicharts blog that it mentioned a cumulative delta analysis indicator available for multicharts.

Notice that for extensive historic data you'll need IQFeed.
Broker feeds have limited historic data, such as Rithmic or OEC.
Many brokers offer Rithmic data, Optimus Futures comes to mind.
Stage5 brokerage offers OEC.
Google cumulative delta and you'll find many information about it.
Its calculation can only be made in one way so the differences that you see between the different platforms out there are all based on the data and its quality.
