You are saying a lot of things in one sentence. Please be more precise.
Live trading vs backtest?
or
Live trading computer A vs Live trading computer B ?
How many instruments? Over what period of time?
Have you checked the session time for each instrument?

I use MC9 + TWS.
MC9 running on two different computers (I have two licenses).
Mode: TWS bektest in demo mode. There is no real trade.
Strategy: One. Equally on two computers. Same time mode. The same number of instruments. Same name instruments. All the same.
Result: Different on two computers. One of the 3 years from 11/17/2011 on 06/30/2018 - $5 654 267. On the second computer - $2 784 321.
Power Grid is also the same - 220V.

Re: Why different results ??
Do both computers have the exact same data? Since historical data may not be the same as real-time data, if one of your pc's collected real-time data while the other only has this backfilled, there might be a difference between both.Mode: TWS bektest in demo mode. There is no real trade.
Have you checked the QuoteManager settings for these instruments? If you ever changed the symbol dictionary (for example), but the other pc is a clean MultiCharts install, there will be a difference between both instrument although they are the same.Strategy: One. Equally on two computers. Same time mode. The same number of instruments. Same name instruments. All the same.
Re: Why different results ??
With all the same instruments. I took a "Portfolio" folder copied to another computer. In QuoteManager also all the same. SMART instruments (stock) used symbols from the TWS.
