Alert When Rate Hit

Postby mcjohn » 27 Jan 2016

Is it not possible to trigger an alert when a rate is reached without programming it into an indicator?

What do you mean by "a rate"?

For example if I have a forex EURUSD chart open and the rate(price) is currently 1.2400. I want to set an alert if the rate(price) reaches i.e. 1.2425.

You can manually draw a horizontal line at the specific price level.
When the price crosses the line, it will trigger an alert.

It can be an audio alert, a visual alert, and/or an email alert.

If you do not see the "Drawing Toolbar" on your MultiCharts,
you can activate it by:

View > Toolbar > Drawing
