Hi, I've been trying to trade a couple of ETFs, but MC wont let me send the orders, I get a message saying: "No security definition has been found for the request", this has been happening after a recent split on those ETFs, I tried deleting them from the quote manager and adding them back but the result is the same. Any idea of how to fix this??
thanks!!

I use Interactive Brokers, Im using MC full version, not the IB version.
To add symbols i go to Format Instruments > Add Symbol > type symbol e.g. AAPL, then I always choose SMART in the exchange field, then add and accpet.

You should always add the symbols from QuoteManager.I use Interactive Brokers, Im using MC full version, not the IB version.
To add symbols i go to Format Instruments > Add Symbol > type symbol e.g. AAPL, then I always choose SMART in the exchange field, then add and accpet.
Always select "From data source" in QuoteManger.

Right click on the Chart Trading Panel,
select Symbol Mapping.
Delete all the symbols and re-map the symbols again.

I just did as you said, but nothing happened, the buy and sell (mkt, ask and bid) buttons are still in blank. Should I try re-installing MC or switch to previous version of MC?

No, re-installing MC will not help.I just did as you said, but nothing happened, the buy and sell (mkt, ask and bid) buttons are still in blank. Should I try re-installing MC or switch to previous version of MC?
Did you reboot MultiCharts?
When you add the symbols, did you select "From data source" in QuoteManger?
