Oanda Data Download Is Very Slow

I'm experiencing very slow download from Oanda when getting data for backtesting. To get 2 years of hourly data, it's taking close to 20 to 30 mins. It seems to be much faster when I use their API directly so it makes me think this is something from MC side. Is there any intentional throttling or any other insight as to why this maybe happening?
