symbol mapping

Postby Capitanicoraggiosi3 » 07 Mar 2017

Hi, I'm trying to remove some data that I do not use in my symbol mapping list but when I click "apply" 4 equals errors appears:
Source: Interactive Brokers
Message: invalid destination exchange specified

I am trying to remove lines of data that I have no charts open and that are not present in my quote manager. Why when I open again the symbol mapping they appear again?

thanks

Hello Capitanicoraggiosi3,

Please make sure that this symbol is not used in any Worskpaces/Scanner windows/hidden series and that it doesn't have an open position at broker.
If it is not - please add the symbol with the correct settings from data provider (Instrument -> Add Symbol -> From Data source), delete symbol mapping and then delete the symbol in QuoteManager

I've tried everything. I don't have graphs open in any workspaces... I see for instance QCG COMEX in symbol mapping... I delete it from symbol mapping, I push apply (no errors appears), I open the quote manager, I delete the symbol. When I reopen both the symbol mapping and the Quote mager I find it again. :-(

Capitanicoraggiosi3,

Were there any open positions at broker for these symbols?
