Cover short trade very strange

Cover short trade very strange

Hi all,

why the cover is more low to the real low of the candle? What's happen?

The low of candle shown is 3510,75 while the cover is 3495,25. Why?

this happens also for the entry of the trade like shown below

Hello, tradingest,

It looks like you are referring to backtesting results with Bar Magnifier and/or Extended Backtesting enabled. In this case orders are filled based on Ask and Bid prices, while your chart most likely has Trades plotted.

You can verify it in Strategy Properties window -> Backtesting tab. Please refer to the following articles for more information about extended backtesting:
