I'm stuck on this problem and could use some help. I've checked through the forums and couldn't really find anything that touched on this;
I've formatted an instrument over a long time frame (just a little under 20 years of data) and applied a strategy over the data. The strategy however doesn't generate signals over the entire data set, even though the indicator that I've used should be generating signals over the full duration of the dataset.
When I switch to a lower time frame (e.g. from 4 weeks to 1 week) and do nothing else to either the code or the strategy properties setting, the strategy now loads considerably more, but is still missing a considerable amount of signals.
Can I get help with this? My code has no time condition. Also, when I try to isolate the problematic time interval in question (1999-2007ish) by formatting the instrument to only load that time period, no signals are generated.
