QM ASCII export issue

Postby Xslim » 30 Sep 2018

When I export the QM data, I select many instruments as a batch exporting. Then I get files more bigger except the first instrument with correct output. It seems exporting many times with your selection items, for examples, export item is "date/open/high/low/close/totvol" and the first one is correct but the last with 2 times even more 5 times "date/open/high/low/close/totvol"
My system is Win10, 64 bit, Multicharts64 Ver.12.0 Build 16868

found another issue, please also check it.
please follow below steps:
1. export data in ASCII, choose time expressed in "Local", save it
2. import data in ASCII, find the previous file(export and import same instrument). Choose "Local" as time expressed
3. Then you will get the warning pop up, told you timestamps outside the range of trading days.
But if you choose the "Exchange" as time expressed, then no issue happen.

In order to avoid ambiguity with interpretation of date and time during ASCII export and import we recommend to use Time Expressed in = Exchange, unless you need a specific time conversion. The better solution is to export daily bars with the “Time” column enabled and keep the same time zone in the ASCII file during export and import.
