Pre-Built Signal Documentation

Postby TrendFirst » 04 Jan 2019

Hello

Just an FYI that I have placed a Feature Request in Project Management, requesting documentation of the pre-built signals in MC. If you have an interest in this, please vote. Thanks.

Re: Pre-Built Signal Documentation

What kind of documentation are you looking for?

Is there a specific question you have?

Those canned strategies have been around for ages. They are the same as the old TS strategies.
There are lots of websites and youtube video on those signals.

In the mean time, if you need specific help, please feel free to post the questions.

Thank you for your reply, TJ.
What kind of documentation are you looking for?
Standard stuff. Good. Thorough. The kind that explains what the script is doing.
Is there a specific question you have?
Yes. Where is the documentation for the pre-built scripts in MC?
Those canned strategies have been around for ages.
Irrelevant. Linear A script has "been around" since 1850 BC. It is undecipherable. Why? No documentation.
They are the same as the old TS strategies.
Irrelevant to anyone that has not owned or used TS. The ones that I have searched for are undocumented as well.
There are lots of websites and youtube video on those signals
There are some. They are like everything on the web: inconsistent, unreliable and many are just trying to sell a product or service. Some can be depended on. Many are out of date, out of context, or just wrong. MC relies heavily on this type of documentation, and it is one of my biggest disappointments in the platform. Which I like, by the way. But official, thorough documentation that is up to date and reliable would make me like it more.
