Would it not be possible to "tag" each trade trough IB API from Multichart with strategy name? according to IB they support tags trough their api.
In that way it would be easy to distinguish trades per system when you analyse result at broker.

That’s true, IB support tags, but we use those tags for the sake of differentiating between the orders. Unfortunately we cannot allow to send any user-defined info through them.

Are you sure it would not be possible to send the strategy name as a tag, according to IB that would be possible..
If you think of it, today, there is no way to be able to differentiate between strategies on broker side if you trade multiple straegies on same symbol.
this is a rather important part for a trader, it would be great to be able to calculate real slippage and differences between backtest and real trading..
Any solution to this ?
