hi.
i wonder if this situation affect performance of mc.
1.
if i test a signal on daily timeframe with data of..
a. 1-minute data(daily data will be automatically constructed by mc)
b. both 1-minute data and daily data
2.
and what if i check bar magnifier option for above situation?
in general how much does that option make calculations slow?
thanks.

Re: data resolutions and performance of mc
Hello rokanten,
Basic information about the supported data types is provided here.
The smaller resolution you set, the more bars (more information) shall be processed by MultiCharts and your script. E.g. loading daily data from start of the year is faster than loading minute data for the same period (or building daily bars from minute data).
As for Bar Magnifier, MultiCharts needs to get the missing precise data to calculate your signal, i.e. download the data from the data provider or unfold the data, if it already exists in the database.
