Problem with ascii mapping

Postby simon007 » 18 Jan 2021

HI @,

I am unable to create an ascii mapping for a file I have created myself.

The name for the file is GDAXI_data.csv GDAXI is the symbol

the content looks like this

Code: Select all

10-03-1998;4830.1700;4859.0109;4803.7152;4836.4637 11-03-1998;4898.1600;4925.1391;4869.3833;4894.7901 12-03-1998;4845.0300;4876.7068;4819.0946;4850.6551 13-03-1998;4861.8000;4883.4447;4828.0154;4848.1238 16-03-1998;4852.8700;4881.9581;4833.7594;4865.8029 17-03-1998;4929.0600;4958.5161;4909.5508;4935.6403 18-03-1998;4958.9600;4981.1464;4926.5830;4953.8473 19-03-1998;4920.3200;4941.0345;4893.1648;4913.9088
the file is sorted from old to new and there is no header

What am I overlooking? Why is it no showing the columns and the data?

Help???

Thanks,

Simon

Hello simon007,

In most cases the invalid ASCII files are lacking the required fields, lacking data in some column, mixed up time and dates, irregular bar intervals. The program filters most faults and informs the user of them, but it is not possible in each and every case.

Please see the analysis of typical invalid ASCII files here.
