Signal calculating problem (5000 Bars back)

Postby M4cM4rco » 24 Jan 2021

Hello,

when I put a Signal to my chart and set it to 5000 Bars back (what should not be a problem for my Pc), it does not even show after 1h.
The whole time it is "calculating...". I checked the task manager, but it shows me that Multicharts do not use much performance:
0% of my CPU, 130MB of my RAM
Can I rise it, so it uses more performance? Or is there another way to solve my problem?
My Pc:
CPU: Intel i7-9700K 3.60GHz
RAM: 32GB
GPU: GeForce GTX 1070 Ti

Problem Solved by Staff Svetlana:
The Instrument needs the 5.000 (or more if needed by the signal script) Bars Back. But even if you set in the Instrument settings Bars Back for example to 10.000, does it not mean that you have so many Bars (because your Data-Provider do not support so many Bars Back). You can Check the real Bars Back Number if you Left-Click on the last Bar in your Chart (BarNumber)
