Micro Future EUREX in Quotemanager

Postby bomberone1 » 09 Apr 2021

Could you add in quotemanger by default the Micro Future EUREX?

Micro Future EUREX Production start: 19 April 2021

Micro Futures on DAX®, EURO STOXX 50®, and SMI® Indices differ from the existing benchmark index futures in terms of contract size only. The value of one index point is 1 euro for Micro Futures on the DAX® and EURO STOXX 50® indices and 1 Swiss franc for Micro Futures on the SMI® index.”

Hello bomberone1,

Symbols can be always added by users.

If you have to do that too often, you can export your symbols in QMD or backup the database.

There are no plans to add the symbols to the database by default as it’ll affect all the users.

If there are symbol roots missing in the Symbol Dictionary, please specify them as well as data providers.

Hi Kate,
I know this, but i am asking to include them by default in Quotemanager.
All other trading platform loke: Tradestatio...SC,NT, etc..have added in their database.
This new futures are the standard, not like a kind of stiks.ùRegards.

bomberone1,
I think Kate wants to know the data provider you are using and what symbol root they use for that product. She can add it if you specify.

For instance, the data provider Interactive Brokers uses a symbol root of ESTX50 and it resides on the DTB exchange.

TS might use a different root, I don't know.

bomberone1,

MultiCharts is a multi-broker platform with more than 30 supported feeds.
Some of the data vendors have thousands of symbols available, I mean each of them. Apart from futures, there are other categories available for trading in MultiCharts, such as stocks, Forex, cryptocurrencies, CFD, and more.

So, technically it is not possible for us to add all instruments from all or some of the feeds in MultiCharts database and have it there by default.
That is why we have flexible features that enable you to add symbols from the data source or manually, add exchanges and symbol roots and change symbol parameters if necessary.
