Solution?? Can't send pla - loosing tabs when dumping code,

Postby bowlesj3 » 06 Jul 2008

Because the forum would not accept a pla attachment of sample EL code (binary search function) I decided to dump the code into the post itself. When editing the post the indent tabs are working. When you view the post they do not work.

Is there a solution to either of these problems (the attach, the tabs lost).

Hi John,

You can just archive the file containing the code and attach it as a .zip file.

Regards.

I got the binary search code in pla format out on the other post using your suggestion Marina.

Thanks,
John.

Thanks TJ, That saves work and you can download it too. Cool. Do you do HTML programming (or web programming or whatever the correct term is)?

I know a few words in html, but I am not a programmer. ;-)

p.s.

you can also use the code button at the top of the "post reply" box.

click once to initiate the start of the code box,
after you pasted the code,
click again to close the code box.

see attached for the code button location.

Thanks TJ. Maybe I can find some time to learn this forum a little better.
