Equity curve log scale

Postby cooper » 25 Jan 2022

Is it possible to view the equity curve with log scale on the y-axis? If not, what is the easiest way to export the full equity curve to csv or Excel?

Thanks,
Cooper

Hello Cooper,

You could use i_OpenEquity value (please see the attached screenshot).
Equity Curve can also be expoted as a part of the Strategy Performance Report. More info here.

Thanks for the response Kate. I should say I'm using the portfolio trader. I assume it's not possible to view the equity curve on a chart like in your screenshot from portfolio trader?

Also, I can't see an option to export the equity curve from the strategy performance report (see attachment). The closest thing would probably be the daily period analysis but I'm not sure it's exactly the same.

Thanks,
Cooper

Cooper,

Equity Curve can be exported as a part of the Strategy Analysis, so you'll need to check that box.

I just tried that and it exports the equity curve as an image instead of columns of values. I can't convert the y-axis of an image to logscale.
