Pre-built Auto Trading Signals missing ?

where are all these? and where are the descriptions of what they do?


MultiCharts comes with many pre-built Auto Trading Signal (Strategies). This comprehensive library includes traditional as well as state-of-the-art studies signals. A key advantage of MultiCharts is that any study's code can be easily modified; almost any custom indicator can be made from scratch.

Right Click on Chart > Insert Study > Signals Tab

Hello Mark,

You can insert these studies onto your chart via the Insert menu -> Study -> Signals tab.
You can also see their scripts in the PowerLanguage Editor: File -> Open -> check the Signal box.
For their description, please check this Wiki section. Those are industry standard tools, so you can also find more info online.

i guess i will have to do a clean install to get them because i don't have them.

Nice compilation Mark. My criticism is the following:
1) MC developers should have named these built-in signals so they can be easily identified.
ex: MC Stop Loss SX, MCTimeExit (Bars) LX, MCTimeExit (Bars) SX, etc.
2) there are no comments in the code
3) much of the code is "fugly".... a code beautifier is badly needed.
