I'm trying to trade Point and Figure.
after experiencing some weird behaviors I was told to use P&F as DATA2 and use Regular bar type as DATA1.
1. i'm trying to use limmit orders like that:
Data1- 3M
data2- P&F
sell short ("SE") next bar at ( close Data2 + X) limit;
in back testing it looks ok. but then when live- not only when auto Trading is on, when just looking at the chart moving, I see that the limit order keeps changing on every tick and It seems that "close data2" is the current price and not the closing price of last bar.
I print on the chart " * " where the limit order should be, in back test you see lines like that- ******** changing only when there is a new Bar on Data2 (p&f).
but when live, you see a different * on every tick.
any idea? suggestions?
2. does anyone here trade Point and Figure as Data 1 and can give some tips?
thank you )

Re: Trading Point and figure- limmit orders problem
Hi Idangy,
Please reproduce the situation in simplified environment (one workspace, one chart, simplified signal) and send us the following files to our support email so that we would be able to investigate it:
1. The workspace where the behaviour is reproduced.
2. Export of used symbols (with data) from QuoteManager in .qmd archive.
3. The exported scripts with all dependent functions that are used on the workspace.
4. The screenshots demonstrating the situation.
5. Step-by-step instruction how to reproduce the situation.
