Yahoo finance real time quote feed

Postby capgain » 06 Nov 2008

Is there a way for TS to use Yahoo finance real time quote service ? Thanks

Also, can other TS users recommend any particular data feed (most important concerns are reliability and affordability)

You probably will have better luck if you ask this on TS's forums. This forum is for Multicharts related topics. You don't go to a Ford dealer and ask them specifics about a Toyota.

By 'TS'. I meant TS Support .. Maybe I should be more specific and say Multicharts. Thanks.

Hi capgain,

Could you please give us some more information (official information) on Yahoo finance quotes? Data coverage, API availability, history availability etc.

As for the recommended feeds, our customers would be in a better position to comment on those. From what we know, eSignal, IB, IQ Feed, OpenECry and a few other providers offer good price/quality ratio. With IB for example, you will be able to receive data for free - if you trade with them.

Regards.
