Big false spike in all pairs

Postby MKlein » 11 Dec 2008

At 1949 GMT this evening there was a huge false spike in nearly all of the currency pairs I'm watching, the exceptions being AUD/JPY and USD/CHF. This renders nearly all charts useless, as they have to be constantly rescaled manually.

Is everyone seeing this problem?

MCFX staff are now out of the office and won't be back for 15 hours. Can anyone suggest a solution in the interim?

I just came to these forums to see if someone noticed this.
I confirm.

Unfortunately, I don't have a solution.

Thank you for the confirmation. With the markets consolidating this morning, it's not too painful to rescale the charts manually as needed. Hopefully TSSupport will be able to edit out the glitches this afternoon.

Dear Molly, Duvald and all MCFX users,

The spike will be corrected within 1-2 hours from now (8:20 EST).

I apologize for the inconvenience.

On Monday we will start working on a bad tick filter; its implementation will allow us to avoid such problems in future.

Thank you for your understanding.

This is good news.
Your historical feed servers are really useful for testing strategies.
