Is there a way to create a new chart window from script?

Postby marketz » 17 Mar 2009

Basically I would like a way to script MultiCharts itself, so that based on a condition in a chart, I want to open up a new chart window. Is this possible?

MultiCharts doesn't provide such tools.

I guess there are no plans to provide such scripting hooks?

Hi
This is an excellent idea
I would use it by reducing the number of charts on the workspace, for example if certain entry conditions apply, then open the chart and enter etc
Basically dont want to see my entry chart until an entry occurs, any other time it can be hidden, but dont want the pain of having to continually check if entry is close to happening,if that makes sense
Regards Milton

Then program it in the scanner. When the condition occurs hit the create chart button.
