Remote Host for MCFX & FXCM

Postby willwill7 » 19 Mar 2009

I'm interested in trading my systems from a remote host, as my internet connection is not the best. Does anyone have a recomendation as such?

Much appreciated.

You need a dedicated server. You can find a lot out there.

When talking with dedicated server companies, they want to know:
- About how much transfer bandwidth I'll have on a monthly basis.
- How much space would I need to operate or what are the system requirements?

I like to have about 10 range bar charts running at a time.

At the expense of sounding clue-less...
Can you give me an approximate idea of what one should ask for regarding services with a dedicated server company regarding the above?

Very much appreciated and thanks again.

Dedicated hosting companies normally give you hundreds of gigabyte per month. So your demands are much lower than they give you.

Dedicated Server?

Andrew,

You mention a dedicated server. Given the cost difference, would a VPS be sufficient?
