zoom cancel.

Postby bowlesj3 » 15 Aug 2009

It would be handy if once the zoom button was pressed we could cancel it without having to initiate a zoom on a chart. Right now once you have started it you have to do a zoom then click the clear zoom to shut if off.

Personally, all tools should be off by pressing Esc key.

Almost all tools, when selected, to be unselected we need to click their respective button.

Imagine that by a simple strike on the Esc key we would be free of it.

Another thing to consider for the upcoming 6.0 version.

Fernando

Dear Sirs,

Do you want it to reset initial state or go one step back?

Regarding the ESC key, I think it shoud be able to reset all tools.

Example, we select the Cross, and as long as the cross is the last tool selected, we should be able to reset it (ie. deselect it)

Yes cancel with ESC would be good. The current method of going one step back seems pretty good to me.
