I'd like to have the name of symbols in the scanner, but since MC don't have this option, YET, I've decided to create an indicator to retrieve the names.
The problem though was discovering that the existing keyword for this purpose do precisely the opposite of what I want (GetSymbolName)
It retrieves the symbol of a name and not the name of a symbol, go figure
What about creating a keyword to retrieve the name of a symbol, for example, GetNameSymbol

Fernando

Dear Fernando
We have tried to understand your request very hard but were not able to figure it out. We don't see the difference between "symbol of a name" and "the name of a symbol". I am attaching the screen shot for you. Please look at it and try to express your wish one more time.
Thank you in advance

Hello Anastassia.
You're absolutely right.
When I saw that GetSymbolName didn't plot the name of the stock, but it symbol, I immediately thought there should be a keyword to plot the name.
And my first idea was to call it GetNameSymbol.
I didn't see the Description keyword.
Many thanks Anastassia.
Regards,
Fernando
