Postby jl12 » 01 Jul 2010

I have imported data into quote manager for these fields however In power editor the fields do not appear to be recognised.
Is it possible to reference them

Dear jl12,

Could you please precise your question? What data have you imported into the quote manager? What do you mean by in power editor the fields do not appear to be recognised?

I load asci contracts into QM (1m data)and when importing am given a choice of fields to import. see attachment

eg up volume, down volume, up ticks down ticks, unchanged ticks, unchanged volume.

my problem is that i do not seem to be able to reference these fields in systems.

Up volume is not recognised as a power language phrase and upticks though recognised will not plot.

Exactly what fields can be used for systems and indicators

Dear jl12,

Unchanged ticks and unchanged volume cannot be used in signals and indicators. All the others can be used.

Please read the Help on:
Volume
Ticks
UpTicks
DownTicks

For example:
DownTicks
Returns the total number of Down ticks for the current bar if Build Volume On is set to Tick Count.
Returns the total Down volume for the current bar if Build Volume On is set to Trade Volume.
