Strange email about an old post I created.

Postby bowlesj3 » 28 Jul 2010

I just got an email, which seemed to be one I would get if someone added a post to a thread I was following or created.

The subject of the email was
"Topic reply notification - "4th Subject: MC6 IB backfill spikes (history)"

However the email itself was different. I clicked to go to the subject and the resulting log in screen was very different. That made me suspicious. I decided to ignore the login prompt.

The address is "support@multicharts.com" which is new too. Normally it is support@tssupport.com

I came into the forum the normal way and checked to see if anyone had responded to that thread such that it was placed near the top of the forum. The result was it had not been bumped up.

Seems strange.

Thanks,
John.

This happened to me also - although a different subject line. I, too, backed out and went to the normal login page and logged in. I assumed it was the company that maintains the software for the forum site was changing stuff in the background. But I am cautious sort and thought it odd.

Dear Sirs,

This forum is maintained by a third party company. I suppose some technical issue on their side caused the problem.
