unexpected trend lines

I've been experiencing this for a long time. It's not easy to replicate but occasionally when I click on the chart window (say to move an object or highlight one to change it's properties) a trend line suddenly is drawn out of nowhere. I definitely did not select the trend line tool at the time. Is anyone else experiencing this? It's extremely frustrating. I think it happens only when I have an indicator that has drawn trend lines.
