Pip size for profit target/stop loss from DOM

Postby ccfeldt » 07 Apr 2011

I have some strange behavior when setting profit target and stop loss as pips from the DOM window.
My settings for GBP/USD are:

which give me the expected results when inputting exit strategy on the chart, but somehow when doing it from the DOM window, the pip size is ten times smaller.
Inputting a profit target of 20 pips generates a buy/sell stop order only two pips above/below my entry price:

Would be interesting to hear what I'm doing wrong here.
Thanks for any feedback.

We had issues when changing symbol settings in the QuoteManager are not applied right away to the DOM. Restarting MultiCharts should help. If it doesn't please come to our Live Chat.

Many thanks for the swift reply - I'll try that and post back.
