Are Regular Points charts in Multicharts the equivalent of Range Bar charts in other packages?
When I do a comparison with other packages they look different. It actually looks like this is better because it has gaps in it and doesn't automatically fill them in which creates a better backtest result. Is this the case?

Point charts are equivalent to Range bars in other packages. They are constructed out of ticks, so if you are backtesting with tick precision, your strategy only has a chance to fill at the prices that actually occurred.
