Bid/Ask Marker on Charts

Postby usw » 22 Apr 2011

Is there any way to show both the bid and ask price markers (the value on the right side of the chart) at the same time? I can overlay bid and ask on the tick chart, but can only show one or the other marker (the one sent to back). I've tried the Bid/Ask indicator, but the problem is it does not update until the next tick, so it is always one tick behind. Basically I'm trying to recreate the tick chart in MT4, if you are familiar with that, which has two lines and two markers, one for the bid and one for ask. Thanks.

You are right, one price scale can only display the precise market for only one data series at a time. However, as in the attached screenshot, you can have two price scales, each one showing the marker for the one you want.

As for the purpose of having two tickers on one price scale, I assume you want to see the spread visually. You can use the indicator called Spread (Diff), as I have in the second subchart, to show you that graphically.
