I just recently installed MCDT 7 Beta 4 on a new pc. I imported into it the same 6,000+ symbols from the older computer, also running MCDT 7 Beta 4.
For some odd reason I'm unable to chart the ETF QQQ on this new computer. I can chart other ETF's such as the SPY, DIA, FXI, EWZ, et al... I can also chart various NASDAQ stocks, no problem.
I am now on the old pc (the new one is off), with MCDT open, and I can chart QQQ on it.
On the new machine, within QM, it simply stays on "Connecting to real-time data for QQQ".
Any ideas???
Oh, the data provider is OEC.
MCDT on two computers, only one with no QQQ data?

Re: MCDT on two computers, only one with no QQQ data?
If you are not using the same OEC login on two computers at the same time, then it should behave identically on both computers. Maybe something went wrong in the porting over process. Have you tried re-adding the symbol on the new MCDT?
Also, you can come to Live Chat so we can look at it.

Thank you Stan.
I did use Live chat, but was unable to be at the computer that was not getting the data. The key is "was". Not sure what happened, but the new computer is now pulling QQQ data. Thank you.
