Automated System on/off

Postby TheTrend » 03 Aug 2011

I hope this hasn't been answered before, but I haven't seen anything.

Is there a way to keep the performance report datas once you turn off your automated system ?

Can you keep the trades done on the chart ?

Good question. I'd also like to know this - can this be done?

A similar question for me

Does stopping a signal stop the processing of the code to run or it only stop sending orders to broker?

- If the code is still running, you could print the orders. If not running, you could use the next alternative method

- You could also have similar code in an indicator. Both to be run in parallel. Place a dot on the screen at entry and exit. For sure it would not be the reality as in paper trade, all orders are filled in at the asking price and no slippage is incurred.
