Not able to show mapped ASCII on chart  [SOLVED]

Postby MCfan » 15 Aug 2011

Hi,

Great product.

I am trying to do the following:

1) Use Free Qoutes data source for History data (for days in the past)

2) Use my own ASCII file to provide a single day's data for Real Time (for current day)

I have an ASCII file that contains:

8/13/2011,16.04,16.12,15.79,15.88

I have mapped the file so that the values in the file are mapped as:

Date, Open, High, Low, Close

I have then created a chart and merged data sources into one chart.

The History data does show in the chart, but the Real Time ASCII data does not.

Please help.

Thank you.

Kiji

OP posted this 5 days ago and no-one from MultiCharts has answered.

Obviously support is not a priority for this company.

Hi MCfan,

Please come to our Live Chat so we can look at your setup. Could be the settings of your sessions, but it seems that today should be showing. We should double-check everything.
