New to multicharts DT, how to use orders?

Postby Mikeb » 14 Sep 2011

Hi, I'm new to MC DT but enjoying it very much so far.

I have a question regarding use of order management, here's the scenario I'm trying to achieve:

1. Place a bracket order 20 ticks above (buy stop) and 20 ticks below (sell stop) current price
2. Once one of the orders is filled I would like to have the other one cancelled (OCO)
3. As soon as the order is filled I would like two orders create, one for target (sell limit for example) and one for stop (stop loss).

I have seen the orders in the Trade manager but just not sure what is the corrrect sequence, can anyone help ?

Thanks in advance.

Right-click on the Bracket orders icon and choose Edit. Enter your offsets for target and stops, and check the Auto-attach tickbox. Now everytime you make an order, your OCO bracket orders will appear around it.
