hi, can't add symbol to mc in quote manager

in my home computer, i can't add symbol of hong kong market to quote manager

i type in the name and can't have any search results, i works in my other computers, just the one at my home fail.

i use data source from IB. through TWS.

symbol from other market is ok.

any possible reason for the problem i've encountered?

which version are you using?

the older version does not have HSI and you have to manually add it yourself.

i have upgradeed to 7.2 and use TWS 920

but still no symbol, and i also discover another problem when using mc with my home computer

after i send order to IB through chart trader, e.g. buying order, there aren't any active order info on the chart.

i have check that i've already enable showing active order on chart function.

as i don't have these problems in all other computer i own, i would like to have a clean install see whether the problem can be solved.

is that i just uninstall the program, delete the MC folder in "program files", and install again should make it an clean install?

that should do it.

database and indicators are under the ProgramData folder.

Hello John.
To make a clean installation you need to delete the Multicharts folder from C:\ProgramData\TS Support.
Please keep in mind that it will erase all your user data (studies and databases).
Please make a clean installation of MultiCharts and let us know if the problem is solved or not.
