Hello,
I'm trying to setup a volume study (histogram) with up bars in white and down bars in black but since my chart's background is white it's impossible to see white bars because there is no border.
I noticed a checkbox to show candlestick border but nothing for volume.
Is there a way to simply show a border on volume bars?
Thanks

Which volume study did you use?Hello,

Try "Volume Avg".
Right click on the indicator and you can change the color.
Re: Show volume borders
Yes this is the study I use and it seems like the color in the style tab has no effect, maybe because colors of this study are controlled by inputs (but weight style works well).
Is it a bug or is there another way to have border on volume bars?

Re: Show volume borders
The Up and Down colors are specified in the Format->Study->Format->Inputs tab.Yes this is the study I use and it seems like the color in the style tab has no effect, maybe because colors of this study are controlled by inputs (but weight style works well).

The style and colour of plots are specified on the Style tab.
There is no separate setting to have border on volume bars.

Thanks for your message.
So it's impossible in Multicharts to have a chart with up volume bars in white (with a black border) and down ones in black on a white background?
Maybe with another volume study?
I thought it was a very common style for candelstick charts!

Just have a thick black bar with a slightly thinner white bar on top, and voila you have a "black bordered white bar.
