Description

Currently when you run an optimisation you cannot use the software at the same time.
Ideally the optimisation should run in the background so that other functions still work.
For example if an optimisation takes 4 hours, I'd like to continue to work on some other coding and testing maybe in another workspace.
It's frustrating that I have to wait for it to finish before I can work on another task.

Steps to reproduce this issue

Run an optimisation

This would be a very nice feature.
You have no more to wait while the optimisation is running. An so to be more efektive on work.

if you open another copy of the program can you trade from that version?
I typically have 3-4 copies of MC open at the same time, one on each monitor.
I don't do optimizations so not sure if this would work for you but I thought it might.

Workaround: open one more MultiCharts.exe
