Description

We all try to ger as more information as possible on the charts. Having the volume information incorporated into the bar itself is a wonderful idea. First, the chart is cleaner, you have more down-space to add something else, and you can focus more on the price action (if you follow only volume & price action, you don't need to look down to volume information anymore).
The way it's done, is bars are thicker if volume is higher. It seems to be a linear approace between the volume variation and thickness of the bar.

Andb, if I understand you correctly this is actually a BRILLIANT idea!
But you should have posted a picture so people can see how intuitive and practically this actually is for classic volume analysis.

and the picture is from photontrader plaftorm.
there are various "workarounds" on the market, many done for NinjaTrader and present on BMT, but none is as brilliantly implemented as in photontrader (with dynamic bar-width space allocation - such that a thick bar does not cover the small surrounding ones).
