Description

Currently MC does not provide any method to send an email alert when an order is rejected. This is especially critical when stop loss order is placed but rejected for some reason. When an order is filled, there is a workaround to send an alert, but not this case. You might consider "order and postion tracking window" to provide email alerts at the events users select.

Since MultiCharts 10.0 Release 3 Auto Trading has a new Recalculate event: “Order Rejected”. https://www.multicharts.com/trading-software/index.php/Auto_Trading#Recalculate_on_Broker_Events One can now determine if the script was recalculated due to a rejected order (aiCalcReason = 6 (CalcReason_OrderRejected)) and generate the alert accordingly. Check the new commands here: https://www.multicharts.com/trading-software/index.php/Category:Strategy_Events
