Description

Usecase:

I think that the existing Play Back starting as a great feature and was a great promise. However, in its current state, it has many features missing, like the ability to place trades while the playback is running, and inspect your performance at the end of the playback. Or, another one missing - integration between Play Back and Volume Profile. Or, if you have one daily chart and one tick chart, synchronizing a playback on both of these two charts is a mess, if it ever works. It's not necessarily somebody's fault, it's just so many other features have been developed without much consideration to integration with play back.

I think a lot of users, if they really want to go back into the charts to simulate some sort of "play back", they just scroll to the left, and just go ahead one bar at a time, following the price unfolding.
It would be brilliant to have the possibility of placing manual/discretionary or hand-picked orders on a chart that's scrolled back into the past, and to see stats on such a "manual" style of (sim) trade. This, of course, means the App should permit placing entry/exit signals on bars different from the last bar on the chart. This could cover all the corner cases that the play back function does not currently support.
thanks
