Description

I'm talking about a custom made DDE server, with custom settings, that you could build by the user in order to "fool" Multicharts into believeing it's connected to a real-time data source. So, instead of a predefined DDE Server list, an option to add an IP Address should be added.

Why would this be useful ?
There are many, and I mean MANY useful features in Multicharts that don't work in playback, which almost makes playback obsolete. Features like Volume Profile, DOM or placing an order in the market (ability to place trades in playback mode) - these just not work in playback.
Since MC development team just don't have time to keep the playback in sync with the new features, a solution for this would be to "fool" MC believing it's getting a real-time data-feed.

There is another Feature Request under evaluation:

MC-793 - MC - As DDE Server

which would greatly help here: server its own data back into a MC chart.
This would probably help a LOT of newcomers evaluate and play with MC.
